Insolvency Service INSSight rollout update

IPA Insolvency Practitioner newsletter, March 2026

INSSight, the Insolvency Service’s new case management system, has been operational since early November 2025 – the latest update is below.

ISCIS Online

The Insolvency Service has made improvements to make the platform more stable, and work is continuing to enable the ‘remittance button’ functionality.

If you have any concerns regarding any of your individual case records, please contact EAS Customer Services (see ‘Support Contact Details’ below).

Interest and Case Closures

Cases with nil, credit or debit balances continue to be closed, including the removal of interest where only simple accrual calculations are required. However, the Insolvency Service has advised that this is taking longer than expected.

Work is ongoing to resolve cases that require complex historical interest to be recalculated.

  • Important note: please remember to request removal of interest prior to final payment and closure. This can be actioned via an email to EAS Customer Services (see ‘Support Contact Details’ below), or by ticking the ‘case closure’ box on all CAU payment forms.

Transfers of monies

Issues continue to be experienced with moving receipts between and within some cases. The Insolvency Service is investigating this as a high priority.
