On Thursday 29th October, our spooky faces and costumes were beamed into colleagues’ living rooms around the country (and might have made the odd neighbour do a double-take) as we took on the IPA’s virtual Halloween quiz for Crisis, our Charity of the Year.
The quiz was organised by Stephanie Miles, Events and Marketing Co-Ordinator and Alex Ward, Events Manager, and we had an excellent compere in Stuart Jary, Monitoring Inspector and star of many IPA Roadshows.
It turns out that certain team members are well read in Halloween and general spooky knowledge, scary songs and frightening films. Congratulations to Senior Regulation Officer and in-house counsel, Caspar Wells and family, very strong winners, with Monitoring Inspector Nicki Slater claiming a closely fought second place.
Very well done indeed to Nikki Haggis and family for their brilliant and very professional costumes – it took us a while to work out who certain people were when we first logged on! Spooky indeed … and as if that wasn’t enough, we had a very entertaining mummy competition too and managed to raise a grand total of £115!
