Yin Lee, President, IPA, Director, YLA
Yin is a Solicitor, licensed Insolvency Practitioner and Director at YLA. She has over 20 years’ experience focussing on business restructuring and insolvency. She enjoys the variety of the work insolvency brings together with the challenges of finding workable solutions for underperforming businesses. Through Yin’s position as President, she hopes to continue mentoring the next generation and opening the doors to increasingly diverse talent. Yin has a keen interest in football and sits on the Serious Disciplinary Panel and the Appeals Panel at the Football Association (FA).

Adam McGeoch, Deputy Agent for Scotland, Bank of England
Adam is an applied economist with expertise in business and industry modelling and analysis. Prior to joining the Agency, Adam led Fraser of Allander Institute’s Business Analysis and Engagement work, including leading its quarterly business survey of Scottish firms. Adam was also a lecturer on Strathclyde University’s MSc. Applied Economics programme. Adam is passionate about diversity and inclusion and has held many roles throughout his career which aim to improve equality in the economics profession.

John Cook, Executive Director, The Accountant in Bankruptcy
John Cook joined the Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) in 2005 after working for the Department for Work and Pensions. John is head of AiB’s Delivery, Digital & Business Development command which has responsibility for AiB’s personal insolvency and DAS operational functions and systems. John is Depute Accountant in Bankruptcy and an AiB board member. John was previously a Citizens Advice volunteer acting as a board member and latterly chair of North Ayrshire CAB.

I used to be very sporty and enjoyed being an enthusiastic, footballer, boxer, judoka and cricketer. Now wound down to some recreational Yoga and following Plymouth Argyle (don’t ask).
My career path has followed repeated patterns of working as an adviser, manager and development worker. Most of my working time has been in development (not quite finished yet), which is the modern equivalent of a jack of all trades. I am a Senior Policy Officer at Citizens Advice Scotland dealing with Financial Health issues.

Eileen is a licensed insolvency practitioner with over 33 years’ experience of personal and corporate insolvency. She is the founding director of Insolvency Support Services, an award-winning provider of training, outsourcing and compliance services to the UK insolvency market. Eileen is licensed by the IPA, sits on the IPA’s Board and chairs the IPA’s Standards, Ethics & Regulatory Liaison Committee. She is also a member of the IPA’s Anti-Money Laundering Committee. She represents the IPA on the AiB’s PTD Standing Committee, Bankruptcy Stakeholder Group and Policy and Cases Committee, and the Scottish Government’s Scottish Statutory Debt Solutions Forum.

Rowan is secretary to the IPA Standards Ethics and Regulatory Liaison Committee, also leading on the IPA Secretariat operational responsibility for the Registered Property Receivers’ scheme.

Gordy is a civilian member of staff within Police Scotland’s Specialist Crime Division (SCD) Cyber and Fraud Unit (CAFU).Completing an accomplished varied career, spanning 30 years of public service, with Police Scotland in 2021,the last four years of service were dedicated to cybercrime harm prevention. Following a short retirement, he returned to his current role, focusing on supporting our CNI, Businesses and SME’s with Cyber-crime prevention response, resilience, recovery guidance and threat awareness.

Andrew Murphy, Associate Director, South, Scotland, Manolete Partners PLC
Andrew joined Manolete in March 2023 from Blake Morgan’s insolvency team. He qualified as a solicitor in 2012 and was previously Head of Insolvency at JCP Solicitors in South Wales, before moving to an offshore insolvency and trusts litigation role at Appleby’s Guernsey office. Ranked in the 2018 edition of the Legal 500 as a “Leading Individual” for restructuring and insolvency, Andrew enjoyed a varied portfolio of contentious and non-contentious insolvency work in private practice, predominantly acting for insolvency office holders and high street lenders.

Neil Stewart, Associate Director, Southern Office, Manolete Partners PLC
After 20 years in legal practice, Neil joined Manolete Partners Plc as a Regional Associate Director in January 2019, covering the South of England. He is an experienced advocate with higher rights of audience, an accredited mediator and current chair of R3’s Southern & Thames Valley region, who has lectured to the Insolvency Service, IPA, ICAEW, solicitors and others on insolvency matters.

Amanda Dickson, RPS Senior Operations Manager, Redundancy Payment Service, Insolvency Service
Amanda Dickson is the RPS Senior Operations Manager within the Business Services Division at the Insolvency Service’s Scotland Regional Centre. She leads the Processing Team, overseeing statutory redundancy payments to eligible employees. With extensive insolvency operations experience, Amanda manages complex case processing whilst ensuring legislative compliance. Her expertise covers the complete redundancy payment process, from initial claims assessment to final distribution, supporting thousands of Scottish workers affected by employer insolvency.

Jason Hunter, Deputy Chief Technical Officer, Insolvency Service
Jason has worked for the Insolvency Service for 23 years, mostly for the Redundancy Payments Service. Initially I worked as an administrations officer, then as an audit inspector on high profile early-intervention insolvencies such as British Steel, Thomas Cook, and Carillion. I’ve also acted as a lay representative where I have represented the Secretary of State at Employment Tribunals. I worked for Official Receiver Services as an examiner for six years dealing with both debtor and creditors petition bankruptcies, and since 2021 I have worked for the Chief Executive’s Technical Team. I am currently the Deputy Chief Technical Officer, providing solutions to complex technical queries on redundancy payments matters from both internal and external stakeholders.
