Unsolicited messages from ‘Debt Riddance’

We draw our members’ attention to an unsolicited message circulating from ‘Debt Riddance’, claiming to offer services relating to ‘non-fit IVA clients’. If you receive this message, we recommend you delete it immediately and do not click any links contained within it.  

The email states that ‘Debt Riddance’ obtained the recipient’s details from the IPA. Whilst the IPA would never share your details in this way, you will be aware that Insolvency Practitioner details are on public record and available on the Insolvency Service and IPA online directories. You should therefore keep in mind the possibility of receiving emails of a similar nature in future. You must be satisfied that a sender is genuine before clicking any links in an email.

The IPA does not endorse any company that may target you with unsolicited messages.
