Upcoming roundtables on the FCA’s AML powers and duties

Following the publication of the Government’s consultation on the powers and duties the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will need to become an effective Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF) supervisor, HM Treasury will be hosting a series of sector specific roundtables.

These roundtables are an opportunity for meaningful discussion on the proposals set out in the consultation. The dates are as follows:

• Civil society: 24^th November: 14:00-15:30
• Public sector organisations: 25^th November 11:00-12:30
• Accountancy & TCSP firms: 27^th November 11:00-12:30
• HMRC sectors and gambling sectors: 2^nd December 14:00-15:30
• Legal sector firms: 3^rd December 11:00-12:30
• Accountancy & TCSP firms: 8^th December 14:00-15:30
• Financial institutions: 9^th December 11:00-12:30
• Legal sector firms: 11^th December 11:00-12:30
