Upcoming roundtables on the FCA’s AML powers and duties

Following the publication of the Government’s consultation on the powers and duties the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will need to become an effective Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF) supervisor, HM Treasury will be hosting a series of sector specific roundtables.
These roundtables are an opportunity for meaningful discussion on the proposals set out in the consultation. The dates are as follows:
- Civil society: 24th November: 14:00-15:30
- Public sector organisations: 25th November 11:00-12:30
- Accountancy & TCSP firms: 27th November 11:00-12:30
- HMRC sectors and gambling sectors: 2nd December 14:00-15:30
- Legal sector firms: 3rd December 11:00-12:30
- Accountancy & TCSP firms: 8th December 14:00-15:30
- Financial institutions: 9th December 11:00-12:30
- Legal sector firms: 11th December 11:00-12:30
