IPA Insolvency Practitioner newsletter, September 2025
It was a real pleasure to meet so many members when I hosted our recent Scotland Roadshow. A particular highlight for me was hearing views from those at smaller firms over lunch. Your perspectives are invaluable, and I look forward to building on these conversations in the months ahead.
I am also excited to be hosting our upcoming Spotlight on AML and Fraud Conference in Birmingham on 25 September and meeting over 200 members and non-members at the event. With Anti-Money Laundering (AML) taking on heightened importance for the profession, this conference comes at a critical time. If you haven’t already registered, I strongly encourage you to join us – the programme promises excellent insights from experts and regulators alike.
Ahead of the conference, the IPA will be publishing its annual AML Report which I highly recommend as essential reading for all members, offering an important overview of emerging risks and our supervisory work in this area.
I am equally delighted to share that the nominations for IPA Awards will be opening very shortly, celebrating excellence achieved in 2025 – with new categories this year to better celebrate the breadth of talent and innovation across the sector. Look out for more details soon, and I hope many of you will take part.
As always, I want to hear from you. Please do get in touch with me directly at [email protected] – I am keen to understand your views and ensure they help shape the work we do on your behalf.
