IPA Awards – what a night!
IPA Insolvency Practitioner newsletter, March 2025
Many congratulations once again to all IPA Awards winners! We hope you enjoy your very well-deserved recognition for your outstanding work. Congratulations also to all nominees – you should be proud of your achievements in 2024.
Thank you to everyone who attended for your support for the profession and our charity of the year, Feeding Britain. IPA CEO Marcial Boo was delighted to present Andrew Forsey, National Director of Feeding Britain, with a cheque for £10,000 in support of their excellent and far-reaching work. Further proceeds will follow from ticket and table sales.
We were also delighted to have The Insolvency Service CEO Dean Beale in attendance at the Awards before he moves to a new role in May. Dean presented the Outstanding Contribution to the Profession Award to David Buchler, Chairman at Buchler Phillips. Congratulations once again David! Thank you to Dean for his guiding hand and contribution to the insolvency profession over the past 30 years – we wish him the very best in his new role.
“Feeding Britain will utilise this year’s donation of £10,000 in two ways”
“First, to help a large food bank in Northern Ireland develop into a food club which offers a wider selection of fresh, chilled, frozen, long life, and household goods, and reduces reliance on emergency food parcels – last year’s donation was used to offer similar help to a large food bank in the North West of England, with 400 households already benefitting from this improved food club service.”
“Second, to create 500 additional places at holiday clubs across England which offer enriching activities and nutritious meals for children living in poverty during the upcoming school holidays.”
Andrew Forsey, National Director, Feeding Britain
