You may be aware that the IPA is a member of the Accountancy Affinity Group (AAG). The group is formed of professional bodies working together to maintain consistent standards and best practice in the accountancy sector, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
Following its advisory note on preventing money laundering and terrorist financing during the Covid-19 response situation, and its alert on modern slavery and human trafficking, the AAG has released an alert on pension liberation fraud.
