The CPPI exam in a closed book exam

The CPPI is a significant development for those choosing a career path in personal insolvency. It provides an opportunity for recognition at a level equivalent to CPI for those working in the personal insolvency sector. [CPI, covering personal and corporate insolvency, is widely acknowledged as a important intermediary level qualification and the IPA will continue to offer this at multiple venues throughout the UK.]

The focus of the CPPI qualification will be primarily on statutory forms of personal insolvency. However, reflecting the need for advisors to be able to give appropriate advice to insolvent debtors, there will be a minor element of awareness of non-statutory debt solutions.
