A practitioner based in the North West had been instructed to assist an insolvent company based in Southern England. The company’s trade and expense creditors were based locally to company, but the majority in value (who were all large institutional creditors) were based in North West. There was an even distribution by number. What were our expectations as to the IP’s duty to locate the meeting with reference to the convenience of the creditors?
