HM Treasury have approved the AML Guidance from the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB) and also the Appendix to the Guidance for Insolvency Practitioners. Copies of the guidance have been updated to the AML Hub on the IPA website, under the General Guidance page, and a copy of the Insolvency Appendix can also be found here. IPs and Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs) should ensure that the guidance is reviewed and consider if any changes or updates are required to AML policies and procedures for your office.
