Following an internal review, the Disciplinary Rules and the Appeals Rules have been amended to provide alternative processes for appointing Disciplinary Tribunals or Appeals Panels in certain circumstances. The revised Rules came into force on 28 September 2021 and are now available on the IPA website here.
Although the rules have been updated, the underlying processes and criteria for the Committees’ work are unchanged. The changes were made to improve the efficiency of the IPA’s regulatory and disciplinary activities to ensure we are meeting the Regulatory Objectives and to offer our members and licence holders a modern, efficient and effective service.
