It was a pleasure to see our members at the online Northern Ireland Roadshow and the in-person Wales event in Cardiff the following week.
Thank you to all speakers, sponsors and delegates for contributing to two enjoyable afternoons. Next in the series is Manchester on Thursday 15th September – read more here.

Andrew Lightburn (Associate Director), Ruairi Maguire (Solicitor) and David McAlinden (Director), all of MKB Law, who provided delegates with a legal update on insolvency actions in Northern Ireland and took us through the implications of the recent European Court of Justice decision in the Dutch Heiploeg case and the differences between NI and GB for insolvency-related employment law and Tribunal practices.
We also heard from Richard Monds, Director of Insolvency at Northern Ireland Insolvency Service, and Stuart Anderson, Head of Public Affairs at Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce. IPA Chief Inspector David Holland and Senior Regulation Officer Rowan Duffin-Jones updated attendees on IPA regulation and monitoring.
