Dear Members,
Firstly, congratulations to all those who were successful in the latest IPA exam results. Your hard work and commitment to excellence has paid off, and as you continue your careers, the IPA is here to support and guide you, and we wish you every success in your endeavours.
For those who may not have achieved the results they were hoping for, the next sitting of the CPI England and Wales is on 27th November, with registrations open until 6th November. I encourage you to sign up if you feel ready.
I had the pleasure of hosting the Scotland Roadshow alongside Paul Smith last month and was impressed by the enthusiasm and knowledge shared by our members and fellow insolvency professionals in and around Scotland. I look forward to the final two events in the series, the Northern Ireland and London Roadshows. These events boast information-packed programmes, featuring expert speakers who will provide insights to assist your daily practice. The programme for Northern Ireland event focuses on devolved and regional matters as well as the other developments affecting the UK insolvency landscape as a whole, and the London programme will have an emphasis on corporate, cross-border and property-related insolvency matters.
In addition, I’m pleased to announce that we will be joined by the Redundancy Payments Service at our upcoming IPA Learning webinar on pensions on 26th September. Representatives from the service will provide practical tips for dealing with pensions in appointments – an important area of practice to get right. You can also pre-book our for our IPA Learning webinar in November which will provide a comprehensive review of corporate insolvency.
Lastly, I want to remind you all that IPA Awards nominations close tomorrow. Don’t miss the chance to submit your nominations!
Best wishes,
Paul Davis
